Quebec is Canada's largest province and its second most populous province, with 7.8 million residents. Its official language is French, and the largest city is Montreal.
Aerospace, information and communication technologies, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals are the leading industries. Video game companies such as Electronic Arts and Ubisoft have studios in Montreal.
Different from the other provinces, Quebec students post-secondary level after grade 11 and enter either general and vocational colleges. The Ministry of Education, Recreation and Sports oversees all education in Qeubec.
